Meet Our Newest Staff – from Shiron Terrell, Warehouse Director

Hello to all!  I’m Shiron Terrell, the newest team member of Youth For Christ Roxboro.  As new staff, I’ve spent time at each one of the My Life Matters and Campus Life after school clubs we lead and the Campus Life Middle School club at the Warehouse. It is so encouraging to see our young people be a part of the works Jesus died for.

Also as a new member, I’ve been raising financial support for this missionary calling. The financial support that I’ve received this far has been great. Still, there’s more work to be done, like the continuing necessity to build a financial support team. Anyone who wants to be a part of what God is doing, I highly recommend that you watch the video by typing this link into your computer’s web browser: After watching the video, if you believe and agree with me concerning our youth, please click the link below the video to support me financially. Or, feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Concerning participation or collaboration, the best approach is what God puts on your heart combined with His word. One of the things I’ve been doing outside of visiting our clubs and raising financial support has been preparing to reopen The Warehouse – a.k.a. Youth Heaven/Youth Paradise/Fun without trouble/All I want for Christmas. Beginning in January, The Warehouse will be open every 1st & 3rd Saturday of each month for elementary (3rd-5th) school age students from 1:00pm – 4:00pm and middle and high school age students from 6:00pm – 9:00pm. That is, in addition to other activities that occurs each week. As Director of the Warehouse, my plans are to have all youth thinking outside the box, dreaming big dreams, and being empowered through the knowledge of God. I know this type of ministry is desperately needed in our community. For example, while recently hosting the students of Person County Learning Academy at The Warehouse I met a young man Ka-ron. I discovered that he has been making great strides in his own personal development, but it was also easy to see, that more loving relationships and Godly influences will propel him much further along in life. Within moments of meeting him, PCLA’s director challenged me to take this young man under my wing; a challenge I gladly accepted. I look forward to getting to know Ka-ron more and meeting more young people like him in Person County.

There are many other plans in the works, such as career days by teaming up with some God loving, career minded, visionaries that are professionals who don’t mind volunteering. If that’s you, the opportunity is available. Contact the Youth For Christ Roxboro office.
